I have had three different deep fried pickles now. First I had made them at home on my own. I used a simple beer batter and they turned out alright. Second, I went to a restaurant and had them, they came with a spicy mustard dip that was fantastic. And last, but by far my favorite, the second batch I made on my own. I also made a super super super simple chipotle dip which definitely made it. I know they are deep fried and HORRIBLE FOR YOU, but since pickles are my favorite to start off with, deep frying them now makes them an obsession.
